  • Apply common Manufacturing systems for global implementation
  • Develop, specify, validate and install new equipment and tools globally and/or improve existing manufacturing processes.
  • Support New Program launch activities
  • Lead the design, development, and improvement of manufacturing processes for an assigned area
  • Utilize project management skills to plan and execute assigned projects with a team focused approach across multiple functional areas
  • Manage budget as required
  • Estimate lead time and cost of capital equipment and machine improvements
  • Understand & lead safety/ergonomic requirements
  • Communicate with all stakeholders, supervisors, engineers, skilled trades, etc. to meet customer needs
  • Support all plant initiatives to meet plant goals

Education: Bachelor – Engineering -Mechanical Engineering preferred

Job Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical controls
  • High level of analytical skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Good computer skills
  • Knowledge of Problem Solving Techniques (ie: Shainin/Six Sigma)
  • Knowledge of GD&T
  • Some Global Travel required

Physical requirements:

  • Standing: While debugging and running off machines
  • Sitting: Office environment, working at a computer, meetings
  • Speaking & Listening: Communicating with work team, suppliers, customers
  • Walking/Mobility: For walking around the manufacturing plants, global travel
  • Lifting: ability to occasionally lift 20 lbs. for working on manufacturing equipment and picking up tooling or parts.
