Texas Instruments (TI) is looking for an energetic, service minded leader, who enjoys helping others to succeed by providing team members and clients with motivation and support in a positive and professional work environment as a Program Management Engineer. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who will challenge teammates to achieve flawless execution goals, while maintaining strong working relationships. Success in this role is measured by the ability to grow the number of new products and drive the forecasted return on investment.

Responsibilities include:
• Lead cross functional teams on the execution of releasing new products and ensuring successful return on investment for every development; the team consists of Design, Marketing, Systems & Applications, Validation, Product & Test Engineering, Firmware/Software Engineering, Manufacturing, Packaging, Field, and Quality
• Plan the project using MS Project from Assess Opportunity Phase to Release to Market and is responsible to make sure the project comes in on budget

• Apply critical thinking and seasoned judgement to identify risks and develop mitigation and preventative action plans. Actively manage and adjust plans throughout the project. Effectively apply lessons learned and engage subject matter experts.

• Provide clear direction to both, team and external support organizations.

• Work with wafer fabrication, assembly & test sites to guarantee schedule, cost and quality.

• Drive and motivate all team members critical to the flawless execution of each product and project, keeping the team on task to meet key business priorities and product goals.
• Provide weekly and monthly updates to senior management on status of projects, articulating the successes, challenges and trade-offs facing a project, offering recovery plans and influencing as necessary to close gaps.
• Interact with customers, field and demand creation teams in support of project status, key milestones, and deliveries. This includes samples deliveries, material status and reliability reports
• Ensure product meets the datasheet specifications, manufacturing and reliability requirements
• Work with failure analysis (FA) to determine root cause of any reliability and qualification failures
• Maintain thorough and up-to-date project schedules with all related milestones
• Communicate weekly with team members and management on status of each project
• Effectively coordinate material logistics and shipment/assembly/test prioritization
• Maintain Galileo system per new product development guidelines
• Success will be measured by the ability to grow the number of new products and drive the forecasted return on investment.

Minimum requirements:
• Bachelors in EE or related engineering degree
• 5+ years of experience with project engineering/management experience on highly complex products/projects
• Proven leadership capabilities in leading multifaceted global organizations
• Successful track record in indirect management and influence

Preferred qualifications:
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and set realistic plans based on required tasks with available resources
• Ability to effectively coordinate and lead global development teams on projects that include design, silicon fabrications, production test development, qualification and production ramp; Programs will be driven out of multiple global locations
• Ability to provide clear direction to both internal teams and external support organizations like device fabrication and assembly sites
• Knowledge of device packaging and wafer fabrication process
• Knowledge of reliability requirements and tri-temp characterization methodology using statistical analysis
• Ability to work in a team environment and understand cross-functional team dynamics
• Ability to work with global customers to align project schedules with customers’ key milestones
• Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
• Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
• Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
• Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
