Technical Program Manager - LibertyWorks

As a Technical Program Manager you will have the opportunity to support the delivery of next generation products or services for Rolls-Royce LibertyWorks. You will be responsible to provide programmatic leadership to an extended, multi-functional integrated product team (IPT) to apply a systems approach to the realization of a new system or the modification of an existing one. You will define, plan, monitor, control and deliver solutions to meet stakeholder requirements, and plan and deliver verification programs to ensure that Rolls-Royce's products meet business, customer, and regulatory requirements.

Key Accountabilities

  • Define and manage the project plans (time and budget), and drive adherence to achieve time, cost, and quality targets.
  • Define, agree, and integrate the plans with the IPTL, taking into account both the scope of the overall project / work package and the activities required to understand and then produce a solution to the requirements including delivery of robust verification, certification, and qualification strategies.
  • Ensure project risks (technical, cost, supply chain, and timescale) are identified, managed (including integration of risk activities in project plan), and escalated in accordance with risk management plan.
  • Ensure IPT work integrated with all relevant higher level plans - including relevant Project Management Plan and Risk Management Plan
  • Definition and delivery of robust verification, certification, and qualification strategies with internal and external customers.
  • Managing and delivering the necessary compliance document, from requirements capture through to evidence of compliance appropriate software / tools.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in engineering with 5+ years experience, or
  • Masters Degree in engineering with 3+years experience, or
  • JD/PhD
  • In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be eligible to obtain and maintain security clearance, which requires USA Citizenship

Preferred Requirements:

  • Project / Function Management Engineering Experience
  • Experience leading or managing a team for execution of a program or in support of a functional skillset
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment; willingness to accept responsibility and take initiative; and drive to finish assigned tasks on schedule
  • An excellent command of the English language for both written and oral communications
  • Familiarity with external customer interface as well delivery of engine assembly and testing experience at a system level.
