About the job
The High Power Drivers product line within the High Voltage Power business is seeking a technically skilled, energetic and result oriented leader who enjoys deploying new products and technologies to market as a Product Engineering Technician.

In this role as Product Engineering Technician, you will support new product qualification from concept to release in partnership with other leaders in the organization and across TI. You will also get the chance to contribute to improvements in existing products that drive increase supply ability and profit margin for TI. You will have the opportunity to learn and influence in emerging areas such as high voltage isolation, new processes, package, IP and test, and automotive and Industrial applications.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Operational functions in support of engineering activities such as product documentation, purchasing, new product release to site, and TI input on customer specs
  • Work closely with AT/manufacturing sites to drive factory and capacity offloads
  • Frequent use of SAP, TI SWR system, eRTP, TI Automated PPAP system, and ATSS system.
  • Collaboration with BU Product Engineers, Test Engineers, and Project Managers as well as TI supporting teams in Purchasing, A/T and fab sites, and field teams to support new product releases and cost/capacity projects
  • Spending forecasting and tracking for Product Engineering team
  • Work closely with the global manufacturing facilities to address customer specific product quality, yield management and cost reductions issues on mature products.

Minimum requirements:

  • Associates degree
  • 5+ years of relevant experience

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with the TI purchasing process and other TI internal systems
  • Experience with building positive and productive relationships with external stakeholders (vendors, field teams, and customers)
  • Ability to quickly ramp on new tools and processes
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
  • Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
  • Strong time management skills
