About the job

The primary responsibility of this position will be wafer level electrical characterization of semiconductor devices on automated test equipment. This is an excellent opportunity to learn a wide range of test and measurement skills in an exciting development environment. The candidate will also interact regularly with process integration, device characterization, modeling, reliability and design engineers often to help develop novel tests or test methods.

Additional responsibilities: assisting with lab organization and upkeep including equipment calibration, some equipment maintenance & coordination, equipment inventory, tracking incoming and outgoing silicon, lab safety and compliance. This position requires strong analytical skills, basic programming skills for testing, and strong communication skills.

Analog Labs in Dallas plays a vital role in supporting new process technology development in the Analog Technology Development group.

The work schedule could be 1st or 2nd shift.

Minimum requirements
• Requires an AAS degree in an electronics related field or equivalent military training / experience.

Preferred qualifications:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
• Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
• Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
• Working well in a team environment is imperative in this role.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships

• Experience with linux and PC/Windows environments
• Good listener and excellent verbal and written communication skills
