Our Data Centers are the foundation upon which our rapidly scaling infrastructure efficiently operates to deliver our innovative products. The Data Center Business Operations team is seeking a technically minded Capital Strategy Manager to support the cost and schedule programs for the global data center organization. In this role, you will be expected to help analyze our capital investment portfolio across the data center organization by using analytical rigor to drive insight, alignment and identify opportunities for process improvement and standardization. You will be expected to evolve the program and serve as a strategic partner with leaders across Data Center Construction, Connectivity, Facilities, Finance, Accounting, and various other Infrastructure teams. Excellent communication, program management, and analytical skills are a must.

Required SkillsCapital Strategy Manager Responsibilities:
  • Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis and the presentation of data to help inform and influence key business decisions around capital investment for the global data center organization
  • Support the forum for data center growth initiatives by providing guidance on new projects and cost considerations, as well as help develop scalable tools and processes
  • Develop spend and schedule analytics, and key metrics to help drive actionable strategies for the business
  • Perform deep-dive analyses to deliver insights on the root causes of issues and make recommendations to drive changes in business strategy to leadership
  • Drive decision-making and prioritization for the business through analyzing data, identifying trends, and producing optimized capital deployment strategies
  • Convey a data-driven story to technical and non-technical audiences around key business insights, in collaboration with key cross-functional partners
Minumum QualificationMinimum Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in managing costs in technology infrastructure
  • 3+ years of experience with SQL (or equivalent)
  • 3+ years of experience working with data visualization tools, including using advanced functionality (e.g. data blending)
  • Experience analyzing and interpreting data, drawing conclusions, and defining recommended actions across technical and non-technical groups
  • Experience managing stakeholder relationships
Preferred QualificationPreferred Qualifications:
  • MS or MBA in a quantitative field (Engineering, Economics, Statistics, or similar discipline)
  • Experience turning complex and ambiguous problem statements into structured solutions while working in a highly cross-functional environment
