We are looking for a driven, creative, and passionate production assistant who will work directly with the Cheddar booking team in the coordination and securing of 30+ live guests daily.

The successful candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced newsroom environment, have an understanding for breaking and trending stories, and an appetite for learning how to communicate with and approach high-profile talent and build relationships.

The successful candidate must be a self-starter and independent worker. You will be expected to pitch timely, smart segments. You'll help juggle schedules, logistics, prep research, and greet in-studio guests. You will have the opportunity to learn from the Cheddar booking team, and book guests yourself over time.

Responsibilities:· Generating exceptional story ideas· Handling scheduling and logistics - with guests, locations, crews· Booking A-list guests, requiring excellent email and overall communication skills


· Fast and exceptionally responsive· Knowledge of news video/TV production· Excellent research and writing skills· Strong grammar, copyediting and communication skills· Familiarity with SEO, RSS, Twitter, Facebook and other social media
