Texas Instruments is looking for skilled Facilities Chemical and Gas Operations Technicians to join our team. As a Facilities Operator, you will perform technical tasks in support of sustaining operations of the facilities chemical, slurry, & gas distribution systems supporting semiconductor manufacturing tools.

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitor and respond to chemical and gas system issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Effectively correct and/or escalate chemical and gas system issues
  • Perform daily duties, (including but not limited to): completing chemical and gas change-outs, material stocking and deliveries, rounds & readings, chemical sampling, 5S
  • Maintain and operate specialty gas and chemical delivery equipment
  • Support bulk gas and chemical deliveries, offloads and transfers
  • Perform troubleshooting and repair of delivery equipment
  • Receipt of chemical and gas deliveries to the chemical dock
  • Material movement from receiving to point of use
  • Forklift & PIT Operations
  • Support disposition and handling of chemical and slurry waste
  • Support decontamination of chemically contaminated materials
  • Comply with all applicable Safety and Regulatory standards including, but not limited to: PPE, DOT/RCRA
  • Commitment to working via a highly standardized set of instructions is required
  • Participate in corrective and preventive maintenance activities in accordance with approved methods and maintenance strategy guidelines
  • Execute proper management of hazardous and nonhazardous waste. Maintain an understanding of applicable hazardous waste laws
  • Support Factory and Facilities Engineering requested activities

Minimum requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED with 2-3 years of relevant work experience
  • 1+ years in field as a technician (or equivalent education)
  • Willingness to work on a compressed work schedule- 12hr shifts
  • Willingness to handle call-in situations after hours
  • Willingness to help cover alternate shift staffing needs
  • Ability to read, understand, and update mechanical, electrical, chemical, and controls system drawings
  • Computer/software skills - Outlook, Excel, Word, SAP
