As a member of the Product Operations & Delivery team at Capital One, you can achieve results you never thought possible by leading critical and strategic business transformations. Furthermore, your role within the On Demand Finance Transformation (ODFT) organization will put you in the driver’s seat to enable our talented development teams to deliver capabilities, products, and solutions which will improve the way our Finance associates perform their work.

As the Sr Associate, Product Operations & Delivery your role will be to create and grow our Product Excellence practices to enable delivery of the right products to market faster through deep user insight, a clear product strategy, and an inspiring roadmap. You will work across stakeholders to establish processes and drive change management. This is a highly collaborative role, where success requires influencing and engaging Design, Tech, and Product partners across all levels in support of Product Excellence.

General Responsibilities:

  • Create, implement, and execute operational processes that drive Product, Tech, and Design’s interactional and operating model.

  • Leverage problem solving skills to ensure the program delivers on intent and maintain key program documentation.

  • Assist teams in developing objectives and corresponding key results to tie back to value delivered.

  • Partner with Product, Tech, and Design partners and customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive solutions and implementations.

  • Forge relationships with key stakeholders to ensure accountability for and delivery of commitments.

  • Identify ways to improve and streamline business processes.

  • Exhibit a proven track record of implementing programs and streamlining processes, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work, prioritization, and dual track agile needs.

  • Demonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with Product, Tech, and Design partners, as well as key stakeholders across all levels to manage, inform, and influence outcomes.

  • Demonstrate confidence in presenting to an executive audience.

  • Display ability to roll up messaging to an appropriate level for an executive audience. Produce professional, thoughtful presentation materials to drive home the big picture for our leadership team to make well informed decisions.

  • Demonstrate organizational agility to adapt to changing demands.

  • Apply understanding of financial, design, data, and technology concepts to initiative objectives.

  • Display exceptional consulting and collaboration skills with a variety of stakeholders across all levels.

  • Show a willingness to learn and an intellectual curiosity to better understand Capital One’s business processes to identify areas for improvement.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience

  • At least 1 year of experience in digital product management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Product, PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification

  • Basic understanding of Product Management and OKR key principles, artifacts, and best practices

  • Experience leading large scale technology transformation programs

  • Strong understanding of financial, banking, data, and technology concepts

  • Work experience achieving results, with a focus on outcomes

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Strong problem solving and influencing skills
