Job description

Upon resumption of normal operations, this role may be performed at our Buffalo, New York office.

The product director is responsible for the roadmap of the product and owns the product and outcomes (incl. revenue, cost, efficiency, Objectives and Key Results (OKR) and KPIs) within funding levels. They are the primary business representative. Responsible for implementing initiatives and ensures projects are completed within committed time/budget and are integrated with other administration and support projects. This position focuses on the management and oversight of significant initiatives within multiple areas and on Data, Regulator and Compliance activities. This position can be either an individual contributor or a first line manager of employees.

You may carry out some or all of these tasks:

  • Work with Technology to understand and manage the impact shifting priorities has to the business, the outcomes, the roadmap and our ability to deliver.
  • Maintains and leads communication with cross functional business stakeholders, resolving conflicting stakeholder priorities.
  • Tracks and reports on budget versus actuals on cross functional budgets.
  • Responsible for intake of new initiatives, requirements, or changes in scope and assessing impacts to the roadmap (sizing and resource capacity planning).
  • Defines the framework for new country consumption of the customer journeys.
  • Maintaining the product roadmap.
  • Leads the promotion and communication of the product to the wider organisation.
  • Creates business epics in JIRA and creates user stories or delegates it to the Business Analyst.
  • Responsible for preparation and execution of PI planning for Data Value Stream.
  • Collaborates with the team to showcase the product to stakeholders.
  • Responsible for completion of Change Framework activities.
