You Are

Someone who knows how to estimate, solution and deliver complex Salesforce programs. You’re not just looking after the solution internally, you’re able to build positive relationships with clients and account teams along the way. You’re able to work the needs of sales and delivery, building thoughtful solutions keep the client’s needs central to the story. Speaking of stories, you are a storyteller, with the ability to tell the story of how the solution was scoped, estimated, and developed with client expectations and deliverability in mind. You are also a savvy around the sales process, understanding the balance between sales and delivery in order to find the right starting point that balances the clients budgetary needs while maintaining deliverability. Ideal candidates bring several years of delivery experience and Solution Architecture experience to a go-to-market Solution Architect role that sits between Sales and Delivery. Job Description:

This is an opportunity to join one of the fastest growing Accenture Technology Salesforce teams. The solution architect will drive solution architecture in sales pursuits, develop and refine delivery accelerators, be a trusted client advisor and ensure consistent delivery for clients in the salesforce space. This person will also actively engage with account teams, Salesforce and industry partners to deliver comprehensive solutions to our client’s most pressing, and challenging, use cases.

We can hire for this role anywhere in the US, as long as you are located near an Accenture office, and willing and able to travel domestically approximately 5-20% of the time to meet client and business development needs. At this time, there is no travel, so this applies to future travel expectations.

Typical Day Snapshot - Solution Architect


While we'd love to say that there's a "typical" day in the life of a consultant, we all know that every day will be different! Some of the day to day challenges of this role will include:

· Define solution architectures for Salesforce in support of proposal development

· Lead the definition of client or RFP scope, define detailed scope and estimate inventory

· Deliver fit gap analysis of functional requirements against Salesforce features and functionality

· Lead solution workshops to co-create solutions with clients in support of proposal development

· Deliver solutions using estimating and quality assurance toolsets

· Develop understanding of industry solutions, and accelerators, to incorporate into solutions

· Drive the design of assets and accelerators to support competitiveness and differentiation

· Integrate Salesforce solution architecture in the technical architecture diagrams

· Drive key partnerships (e.g. Salesforce, key ISVs, internal) to support cross-cloud solutions

· Disseminate best practices on solution positioning, quality assurance, risk and costing guidelines that drive consistent, and profitable delivery

· Mentor team members interested in go-to-market sales and solution architecture

Basic Qualifications:

· Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in project management, business analysis, and technology implementation in full life-cycle CRM engagements.

· Minimum of 8 years of experience with delivering Salesforce solutions

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associates Degree, must have minimum 6 years’ work experience)

Preferred Skills:

· Ability to engage with Senior Clients (Senior Director/ VP level) in a business centric, business outcome oriented dialogue.

· Ability to articulate Salesforce and Accenture value proposition across multiple use cases

· Knowledge of complex AppExchanges packages, and how to estimate their implementation

· Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

· Customer oriented and great at building client relationships.

· Desire to work in a dynamic work environment and be creative within a team.

· Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment.

· Desire to mentor, teach, and help develop next generation of Salesforce practitioners

· Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.

· Desire to work in an information systems environment.

· Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills with the ability to sit between Sales and Delivery and communicate across all audiences

· Excellent leadership and management skills.
