At Accenture, business design is integral to the design process. The strategists, pragmatists, and creative thinkers on our Business Design team establish people-centric business strategies for our clients, fusing the practices of design and strategy to structure the business impact of design at a strategic, operational, and organizational level.
As a Business Designer, you will support business design activities throughout engagements at the project level. Design is the problem-solving paradigm of our age, and Business Design maximizes the impact of the products & experiences we are creating, by identifying the best intersections of what’s desirable, feasible and viable. We are looking for someone who has knowledge of the Metaverse and understands business practices within.
Establish people-centric business strategies for our clients, fusing the practices of design and strategy to structure the business impact of design at a strategic, operational, and organizational level.
Support business design activities including client workshops, stakeholder interviews, business intelligence gathering, creative brainstorms, visioning, quantitative research, value story, case development and KPI development.
Synthesize materials and construct meaningful stories to ground the design work in the client's context.
Help guide the project to ensure it meets client needs, as per stakeholder needs and business conversations.
Edit teammates' deliverables as needed for brevity, clarity, and maximum impact.
Support new business development efforts by providing expert information in pitch efforts and client meetings.
Build a network of colleagues and regularly share progress and insights, learning from each other.

Here’s what you’ll need
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a client facing role in a design agency or consulting firm
Minimum 1 year experience in growth strategy focused on one or more of the following areas: product, service, experience and business creation, with proficiency in value analysis (value pool sizing, value cases, etc.)
Minimum 1 year experience demonstrated success working with cross-discipline teams including Tech, Business Strategy, and Creative
Bonus points if you have
Knowledge of and experience with Metaverse, Virtual and Augmented Reality products and services in the market
Thought leadership and ability to develop strong points of view on industry, technology & societal trends marrying qualitative and quantitative insights
Ability to learn new software quickly; experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision, Axure, Confluence, or JIRA is a plus.
Knowledge of and experience with applying user-centered design processes.
Understanding of areas of specialization within the greater design landscape, including but not limited to Design Research, Visual Design, and Content Design.
Ability to create experience maps, user journeys and service blueprints, interaction models, flows, and wireframes.
Familiarity with rapid prototyping methods, ranging from paper sketching to digital prototypes.

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $119,880 - $227,600 and information on benefits offered.
