Application Development Manager (Accenture LLP; Seattle, WA): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Application Development Manager in Seattle, WA to guide and coach the Scrum Team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to our customers. S/he will perform the following duties: gets team to a high performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques; responsible for ensuring Scrum is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines; coaches the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, domain knowledge and communicates effectively, both internally and externally working within the Scrum team; works with Scrum Team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support organizational project or product teams, resolves team impediments with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization; contributes to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization; facilitates and supports all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective; drives continuous process improvement and implements best practices in order to increase customer satisfaction, quality, and business value; achieves improved operational excellence in delivery and increased early warning of issues to allow enough time to resolve or mitigate; uses data to measure and track performance results and monitor progress across project lifecycle and partner with the Product Owners to support short and long-term release planning, leadership, visibility, appropriate prioritization, and to keep working backlog healthy and prepared for execution. Shields the teams from external interference to enable optimal functionality and productivity.



This position requires at least a bachelor degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology applications, Engineering (any), or in a closely related field plus 5 Years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience as an Application Development Senior Analyst or in a related position including the following professional experience: 5 years of experience in Scrum to support the Product Owner development team and ensure that the Scrum Artifacts are transparent; 5 years of experience in Agile Project Management defining project scope and scheduling while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value; 5 years of experience in Agile Process Coaching to assist Product owner in creating strategy for the product; 5 years of experience in Testing Strategy and Planning to describe the testing approach for the product; 5 years of experience in Configuration & Release Management to plan, schedule, and control the build, deployment of releases and deliver the new functionality; 4 years of experience in Test Automation Strategy & Framework design outlining the overall plan for automation testing to help ensure a higher ROI, more test coverage, and increased test reliability with quality repetition.
