You will be working with the PPS team to update our internal knowledge base articles. The assignment includes basic HTML coding, addressing article feedback, and working on content audits. You’ll help make sure the content follows our content guidelines to ensure the articles are easy to read, and provide organized content audits to support the team’s strategy.
Day-to-day responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Create articles for product launches or feature updates
Address feedback from users and internal stakeholders to update content
Draft & distribute weekly “Announcement” content in CMS and LMS for product/feature launches and process changes
Audit and review internal knowledge base content for accuracy, freshness, and quality as part of a structured “Content Freshness” program
Execute mass content updates and content scrubs as part of ad-hoc content audits driven by large product, process, or tool changes
Communicate with subject matter experts across PPS to locate and confirm answers to content accuracy & completeness requests
Make edits to content and work in Acrolinx to ensure it follows grammar and content quality guidelines
Proofread and fact-check content
Assist the PPS team in triaging and assigning requests for new content
This is not a virtual/remote role; the role is work site dependent and requires a distinct level of professionalism. Relocation assistance is not provided.Qualifications
2+ years experience in content editing or writing customer support agent-facing content
Strong writing and editing skills
Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Preferred Skills / Experience
College degree (Associate or Bachelors)
3 years of experience editing or proofreading online help content, such as product tutorials or user manuals
Basic knowledge of HTML
Content management systems
Familiarity with Social Media Paid Products
Familiarity with iOS and Android platforms
Experience with a ticketing system for receiving and completing requests
