Job Description:

Have you developed a reputation for your ability to strategize, analyze, design and implement PIM, eCommerce transaction processing, and syndication tools to support eCommerce initiatives? Do clients rely on you to create and communicate the detailed technology architecture and implementation strategy for the solution? If leading technical teams through the integration and development of underlying Commerce and Product Information systems sounds like a challenge you want to tackle, then we want to meet you.

The work:

  • Lead large-scale PIM or eCommerce implementations, providing both oversight and hands on contributions to the software design, development, and integration

  • Provide subject matter expertise to identify and recommend workable solutions to clients

  • Work with the project management and technical leads to develop the overall implementation solution plan and serve as a lead, as required, overseeing aspects of the project life cycle, from the initial kickoff through the requirements analysis, design and implementation phases for projects within solution area

  • Accountable for broader quality of delivery across relevant Solution Platform projects through appropriate risk mitigation strategies

  • Develop conceptual and logical architectures

  • Create and distribute reusable Solution Platform sales and delivery content to ensure scalability of solution area and group

  • Provide point of view on Solution Platform and vendor marketplace

  • Support the business development life cycle by serving as a solution SME and assisting with the identification and qualification of business development opportunities

  • Help lead and contribute to the estimation effort for relevant proposals and/or projects

  • Provide support to the sales effort on new business development pursuits, assisting with RFP responses, architecture assessments and technical qualifications


Here’s what you need:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience with Java Enterprise frameworks like Spring and/or J2EE, the Microsoft .Net platform including .NET 3.5/4.0 or web technologies including XML, HTML, XHTML, XML, CSS, AJAX/JavaScript, Web Services/SOAP, SQL

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in solution design and architecture of large, complex PIM solutions

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the areas of project/program management, IT resource management and/or IT operations management

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience

  • Proven ability to connect SaaS solutions

  • Expertise in working with relevant PIM or eCommerce packaged solutions

Bonus points if:

  • Experience working with Akeneo, Enterworks, InRiver, Informatica, PIMCore, Riversand, Salsify, Stibo, Syndigo, BigCommerce, Shopify, ElasticPath, CommerceTools

  • Experience with payment processing, inventory management, order management

  • Experience with customer data management

  • Experience integrating headless commerce platforms, backoffice applications, and SPA/AMP front-ends using microservices and/or iPaaS/RPA tools

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in pre-sales strategy, business development, and/or proposal creation

  • Ability to take ownership of a particular solution offering and to develop and execute a strategy and business plan to support the growth of the solution offering

  • Proven track record of implementing large, complex web sites and/or web applications

  • Full life cycle implementation experience with multiple SDLC methodologies including waterfall and Agile

  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to facilitate team and client meetings.
