Associate Manager, North America Compensation Team
Accenture is currently seeking an experienced Compensation professional for a full-time position within their North America Total Rewards Team. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate very strong proficiencies as well as thrive within the following areas:
Working with large, global, constantly evolving, complex and matrixed organizations
Communicating effectively (verbal and written) with all levels of employees including Senior Management
Analyzing large volumes of data with the goal of “telling the story” and providing relevant and concise executive summaries
Presenting compensation analysis and deliverables to clients and internal team
Being able to adapt to quickly changing deadlines and deliverables and multi-tasking as required
Continuously seeking to improve and enhance, including enjoying creative problem-solving and feeling comfortable questioning the status-quo while recommending alternative solutions
Balancing working with clients in a collaborative and empathetic manner, while adhering to, and applying strategic and established compensation principles and processes
Demonstrating strong project management and organizational skills and willingness to learn new skills and approaches to compensation.
Independently managing and owning client relationships with minimal oversight
Responsibilities:
As a key member of the North America Compensation Design and Strategic Initiatives team, this role contributes and delivers on a broad variety of compensation activities, including but not limited to:
Supporting, contributing to and implementing compensation design and strategic initiatives
Applying proficient knowledge and understanding of market data, salary ranges, bonus plans, and federal, state, and local laws governing compensation
Developing and communicating compensation policies and procedures
Acting as a subject-matter expert on Accenture Total Rewards philosophies and principles
Synthesizing complex information and applying knowledge to develop recommendations that support quality organizational decisions and actions
Demonstrating and applying current knowledge as well as proactive research methods for best practices and process improvements to increase efficiencies and quality of deliverables
Owning and taking full accountability of end-to-end deliverables and relationships
Supporting key compensation processes including cyclical salary administration and promotions, off-cycle compensation adjustments, planning and budgeting, pay equity, market intelligence, ventures and acquisitions, etc.
Creating clear and concise Excel and PowerPoint analysis and presentations
Supporting the Compensation Lead across all deliverables and acting as a subject matter expert within the team
Basic Qualifications:
5-7 years of Compensation experience with strong aptitude in compensation acumen and the areas of data analysis and presentations
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
Experience working in a large, complex, and matrixed organizations
Experience with Executive compensation analysis and presentations, with sound knowledge of Executive Equity and bonus plans
Very strong Microsoft application skills – Excel, PowerPoint, and Word – experience or expertise with macros and VB is preferred
Very strong analytical acumen – ability to analyze and interpret large volumes of data and provide relevant and concise executive summaries
Comfortable with technology and working in web-based and external vendor tools as required
Comfortable interfacing with employees at all levels
Professional Skills:
Passion for simplification, process improvement, streamlining and improving efficiencies – quality over quantity
Quick learner and willing to ask questions and challenge the status quo while proposing alternative solutions
Ability to prioritize, multi-task, think outside of the box, apply creative solutions, and display proactive and strategic thinking
Strong sense of integrity, professionalism, and a desire to contribute and shine within a strong team
Having an intrinsic appreciation for data, a strong work ethic, and a can-do attitude would go a long way in helping you succeed in this role
Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian
Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian

Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
