You are:

A Robotics Mechanical Engineer who helps industrial companies use automation to make things quicker, cheaper, and more useful. You design and integrate robotics solutions, assembling robots and sub-systems for industrial users.

The Work:

  • Assemble robots and various components

  • Familiar with robot types: cobots, autonomous mobile robots, industrial robots

  • Familiar with component types: cameras and vision systems, grippers, lasers

  • Translate user needs to technical requirements

  • Integrate robotics equipment and ancillary systems to create a solution based on requirements and needs, e.g., conveyors or forklifts

  • Ability to mechanically design robotics solutions for an industrial environment

  • Be able to customize the hardware and prototype equipment

  • Design and engineer new customization components of robotic solutions

  • Develop mechanical drawings of robotic solutions and modifications to the facility

  • Basic programming and testing of robots of various brands

  • Ensure the safety of the robotic solution

  • Understanding and exposure to robot mechanical performance

  • Advanced knowledge of robotics in material handling and motion control

  • Proficiency in robotic arm calibration, end of arm tooling customization, and

  • Familiarity with other advanced manufacturing technologies

Here’s what you need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering

  • Minimum 2 years of robotics experience

  • Ability to travel 50% as needed to industrial sites across North America

Bonus Points if:

  • Experience implementing a robotics project, worked as a robot integrator or performance services from a robot OEM

  • Robotics experience in a manufacturing or logistics industrial environment

  • Manufacturing or Warehouse

  • Prototyping and Engineering

  • Robot Programming

  • Experience in industries or domains: Automotive Industry, Logistics and Transportation, Manufacturing and Industrial Automation, Resources, Energy, Oil and Gas, Consumer Goods & Services, High Tech, or Retail

As required by Colorado law under the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
