The Work:
Accenture’s Cloud First Infrastructure Engineering professionals partner with our clients to advise, create, and deploy end-to-end infrastructure transformation solutions, enabling business innovation. These solutions are the backbone of driving IT-enabled differentiation. IE professionals are grounded in New-IT with an expertise in one or more of our core practice areas: Workplace and Collaboration, Network Technology, Service Management, Hybrid Cloud, Public Cloud, and traditional Data Center. The Cloud Transformation and Architecture Manager will plan and lead transformations of complex IT environments to drive business outcomes. Architect and deliver technology solutions leveraging next-gen IT models and agile, scalable architectures that meet the need of today's corporate and digital applications.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Technical design and architecture services understanding of Cloud Servicer Providers (GCP, AWS, Azure), deep expertise with one of service provider preferred

  • Work with clients to develop strategies for architecture and engineering Cloud solutions from concept through implementation.

  • Envisioning of Cloud detailed designs: Landing Zones, Framework for Application services, Security services and Tooling etc.,

  • Evaluate and provide recommendations for emerging Cloud architectures technologies

  • Perform strategy assessments of current infrastructure and applications landscape to develop a technical Cloud adoption roadmap based on leading industry practices.

  • Deep expertise and Implementation experience - Cloud architecture and services design - hands-on, with experience DevOps (preferred)

  • Technical Project management activities including work planning, status reporting, client relationship

  • Drive internal and client-facing meetings, prepare reports and presentations

  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with clients senior technical and business leadership

  • Develop internal white papers and knowledge capital on Cloud technology topics

Here's What you Need:

  • Minimum of 2 years Infrastructure (Server, Storage, and Database) discovery, design, build, and migration experience.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in 3 of the following areas:

    • Datacenter migration

    • Datacenter Operations Management

    • Application Lifecycle Management

    • Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM)

    • Server Operating Systems (e.g. Microsoft Windows, Unix, Linux, etc.)

    • Storage (EMC, NetAp, Glacier, S3, etc.)

    • Virtualization Platforms (e.g. VMWare, Hyper-V, etc.)

    • Cloud Computing and Storage (AWS, Azure)

    • Workload Migration Automation Tools (Double-Take, Racemi, etc.)

    • Cloud Management Platforms (vRealize, Gravitant, etc.)

Bonus Points If:

  • Experience with 3rd party tools – Cloud Management Platform, Backup, Monitoring

  • Knowledge of Cloud security

  • Previous consulting practice experience

  • Hands-on experience with hybrid cloud platform solutions

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
