User Experience Engineering Manager (Accenture LLP; Arlington, VA): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of User Experience Engineering Manager in Arlington, VA, and the job duties are as follows:

  • Identify and assess complex problems and create solutions that require in-depth evaluation of variable factors that are implemented by the team.
  • Conduct project and issue management (status reporting, issue reporting, ETC/budget reporting) for assigned scope of work and make decisions that impact the team’s work assignments.
  • Work with the client to gather requirements and design proof of concepts for new technologies/solutions and suggest business process improvements to reduce complexity in custom application(s).
  • Work directly with the technical, functional, and business analyst team to deliver projects, enhancement requests, and fixing defects.
  • Supervise a team of quality engineers to gather and interpret user/system requirements into test design specifications.
  • Participate in quality management reviews to ensure deliverables are in place, satisfy requirements, and meet quality and performance goals.
  • Evaluate current and/or emerging technologies to consider factors including cost, portability, compatibility, or usability, and liaise with onshore and offshore teams to convey the requirements, clarify the designs, and verify the deliverables.
  • Act independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
  • Make decisions that impact the team through regular consultation with senior management.
  • Adhere to strategic direction set by senior management.
Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry.

Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Web development using [Register to View] or AngularJS;
  • Unit testing using NUnit or JUnit;
  • REST API development for web application using Java, Node.js, or .NET Framework; and
  • Working with Agile Methodology in a Distributed Team Environment.

Must have 2 years of experience in planning, architecting, designing, and executing business requirements using Design Patterns.

Must have 1 year of experience in troubleshooting web application code using Splunk.

Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
