Role Value Proposition:
The Candidate will report to the Enterprise Architecture Director for Corporate Systems and provide technical leadership for applications, platforms, processes, and their integration into the cloud ensuring consistency with enterprise reference architectures as well as evolving them as needed. The Architect will liaise with Corporate Systems AppDev, LOBs, Enterprise security, infrastructure, and operational teams. The successful candidate will have a strong capability to connect architectural concepts, devise technology solutions and communicate them to a broad set of constituents at all levels of the organization. The Architect will be responsible for collaborating with product teams in an Agile Delivery Model utilizing third party SAAS and PAAS systems to support the following LOB: HR, Employee Experience, Real Estate, Compliance, Internal Audit, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Developers, Infrastructure and Business personnel across all levels of the organization and synthesize disparate information into a viable architecture for the challenge at hand.
  • Jointly create 3-year roadmaps aligning LOBs strategic desires with enterprise reference architectures
  • Ensure solution follow the blueprint prescribed in architectures co-developed with App Dev teams.
  • Provide leadership in developing standards. Ensure architectural governance and best practices
  • As senior domain architect for Corporate Systems you will incorporate and advocate techniques enterprise wide
  • Mentor teams through hands-on assistance with new technologies, techniques, and governance
  • Ability to influence at all levels of the organization

Essential Experience and Technical Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or related technical field (computer science, MIS, CIS, etc.)
  • Superior written and verbal skills and ability to prototype technical ideas quickly to demonstrate effectiveness
  • Broad, deep understanding of cloud development, SaaS and PaaS integration utilizing APIs, Big Data services, Streaming Services, Full Stack DevOps Principles and Event Driven design.
  • Experience with enterprise ERP systems such as Oracle Financials, PeopleSoft, or similar Enterprise grade management system
  • 5 + years of experience in data architecture using relational / object modeling, and domain driven design.
  • 5 + years of experience of enterprise level infrastructure, platforms, middleware technologies, databases (relational and object oriented) and application servers
  • 3 + years of experience in a development role with a solid mix of the following related technologies: Java, C#, .NET CORE, Service Oriented Architecture, REST, WebAPI, Spring, JSON, XML, ability to design and develop shared components and frameworks, OOA/OOP & design patterns, NOSQL (MongoDB, COSMOSDB).


  • Applied experience in Data Centric architectures; Insurance or a related field where leveraging data is key to the success of the organization
  • Applied experience of deployed Azure PaaS architectures
