In this role you will:

  • Build a successful supplier scope 3 management capability aligned with our SynOps workflow and process platform, leveraging the talent of our people and ecosystem partners

  • Leverage your core business development and entrepreneurial skills to understand and structure clients challenges

  • Develop hypotheses on solutions undertake market and trends assessments, develop business cases and build operations offerings to unlock value and enhance sustainability outcomes

  • Use your deep industry knowledge and sustainability expertise to advise clients on their sustainability transformation

  • Build client and internal relationships and develop your pipeline of work through opportunity, proposal, and commercial phase

  • Lead high performing multidisciplinary global teams, leading by example, actively mentoring others and contributing to performance management and recruitment activities

  • Build a network of Accenture and external partners to help you sell, build and deliver your built solutions

  • Support knowledge building efforts such as developing offerings, assets, capabilities, and relevant thought leadership and engage with the wider sustainability community across Accenture globally

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in operational, technology, project or consulting work in roles connected to sustainability, carbon or other ESG Measurement and performance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Supplier management, procurement, scope 3 measurement and/or management, supplier relationship development, product or manufacturing sustainability in a corporate environment

  • Familiarity with GHG protocol, Scope 3 standards, supplier management, product lifecycle and / or product design and supply chain as it relates to energy, water, waste, supplier diversity and other factors

  • Understanding of delivery in an operations environment

  • Experience leading large scale new process and technology development projects within an organization on as an advisor to organizations

  • Strong understanding of financial value in a consulting or BPO services environment

  • Business case and financial management skills

  • Relationship building at all levels, including with senior executives and C-Suite

  • Leadership of diverse global teams in complex and ambiguous strategy engagements

  • Staff development and mentoring

  • Comfort leading presentations and workshops with large audiences

  • Experience working on emerging energy challenges in multiple industries

  • Proven experience building and running renewable energy, energy efficiency, EV vehicle transition or related programs in corporate environments

  • Strong understanding of the energy regulatory landscape to guide clients on how to prioritize

  • Extensive experience at a top tier consulting, services and/or BPO firm or demonstrable experience building a new commercial business within a large global services firm

  • Experience of using digital technologies to solving clients’ complex business and sustainability problems

  • Confidence to articulate complex problems and solutions in a simple, logical and impactful manner and to constructively challenge team members and leadership to ensure the right client outcomes and value are delivered

As required by Colorado law under the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
