This position will be located at East Hanover, NJ site and will not have the ability to be located remotely. This position may require up to 20% travel as defined by the business (domestic and/ or international). Please note that this role would not provide relocation assistance/support.

The Director, PSS Data, Insights and Decision Science role will be responsible for leading data-driven insights and analytics that drive performance and shape the future of all Novartis Innovative Medicine patient onboarding and adherence programs at our Patient and Specialty Services (PSS) organization.

This individual will lead the strategic initiatives to leverage decision science and behavioral science to discover insights and identify opportunities to optimize patient onboarding and adherence programs. This individual will partner closely with business stakeholders and must possess strong communication skills in order to present results of complex analyses in a clear and actionable manner. This individual will be an adherence analytics/data expert for PSS, providing problem solving leadership to enable analytic-based solutions to business questions and challenges.

Major Accountabilities
• Proactively identifies business priorities/challenges and changes in the healthcare landscape impacting onboarding and adherence and translates into data performance metrics and advanced predictive analytics for adherence
• Conducts exploratory data analysis. Maintains and monitors adherence program reporting. Designs experiments and tests hypotheses. Applies advanced statistical and predictive modeling techniques to build, maintain and improve on real-time decision-making.
• Provide input into design of adherence programs across brands by modeling impact of various options and design approaches, for example financial and behavioral segment impacts.
• Leads discussions with external and internal vendors to ensure high standard of PSS data and analytics in adherence.
• Rapidly problem solves and resolve data and analytics challenges for adherence as needed, working closely with the Director PSS Data Effectiveness and Analytics, data stewards, IT, PSS Analytics franchise leads, brand teams and external partners.
