The Marketing + Communications team shapes and activates strategies and programs that advance the brand, growth, and talent goals for Accenture Federal Services. Our highly collaborative, cross-functional team drives brand positioning in the US federal market, curates digital and client experiences to advance growth priorities, empowers and positions leaders and subject matter experts, and engages and inspires the company’s people and recruits. Your Role: AFS Content Marketing Specialist
The Content Marketing Specialist will support and execute content marketing programs for Accenture Federal Services. In this role, you will identify and shape new stories, draft and edit editorial copy, plan and manage editorial calendars, project manage digital and print production, and produce and execute launch programs and promotional campaigns. Support for Accenture Federal Services’ Federal Viewpoints blog program is a primary focus with additional support for other thought leadership and editorial programs (case studies, whitepapers), as appropriate. You will also work with our digital teams to monitor, evaluate, and improve the performance of associated web pages, including search engine optimization (SEO) and persona-based web journeys.
This individual brings successful experience in B2B or /B2G content marketing, preferably in the federal IT, technology or professional services industries. They offer demonstrated creative and editorial project management expertise; demonstrated proficiency in digital and campaign management, including analysis; and excellent writing and editing skills. They will work collaboratively with people across the Marketing team, the company, and with both business and marketing partners, as well as individually, to consistently execute high-quality, effective programs on time and within scope.
This role offers a great opportunity for an individual who is excited about creating compelling stories on how technology can empower the federal government; who loves to think creatively about how to connect with audiences across a variety of content types, from long-form articles to short social media posts; and who is enthusiastic about keeping up to date on the latest developments and innovations in federal and technology markets.
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience, including two years in editorial, marketing, and/or marketing communications roles
Must be local to or willing to relocate to the D.C. Metro area

- Understands and familiar with new and emerging technologies (e.g., cloud computing, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence)

- Serve as an editorial advisor to subject matter experts, advising on the right approach, tone, and messaging to meet specific communications and marketing objectives
- Ability to set and maintain an editorial voice and position designed to attract, build and retain target audiences
- Operate confidently in a matrixed organization, engaging and collaborating with a cross-section of business stakeholders to transform their ideas into compelling marketing deliverables
- Demonstrate ability to design, plan, and execute high-impact, creative, quality projects and deliverables in clear alignment with business strategy
- Demonstrate superior oral and written communications skills and presentation skills
- Work autonomously and independently, yet integrate seamlessly with other areas within Marketing & Communications and the business
- Manage ambiguity and quick-turn expectations, agile execution and proven excellence in storytelling and written communications, ability to navigate multiple processes, excellent team building and people management skills, positive and collaborative work ethic
- Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian
As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
