Job Description:

As a SAS Platform Administrator, you will:

  • Provide overall SAS platform administrative support

  • Provide maintenance, enhancements installation, and support of the Business User requests/issues in the SAS Grid environment

  • Assist with new implementations, upgrades, hotfix patches, and platform support of SAS GRID environments

  • Support SAS client applications and underlying infrastructure support, and ensure processes are aligned and compliant with Client policies

  • Serve as a liaison between the SAS user community, internal SAS experts, and the IT infrastructure support teams

  • Ensure that the SAS platform is compliant with all IT policies for performance, backups, disaster recovery, and system documentation in order to meet business requirements

  • Utilize ITSM tools such as ServiceNow for ticket assignment and work on the root cause of the incident tickets (P1, P2, and P3) and Problem tickets

  • Support the SAS jobs that are scheduled through the Autosys scheduler and SAS scheduler to debug and ensure the Jobs are successful and troubleshoot the logs for the root cause of the issues

  • Configure the NDM file transmissions to the SAS Grid locations, troubleshoot the file transmission issues, Server certificates configuration, and maintenance

  • Monitor the SAS Grid alerts, health, and utilization using the SAS EVM (environment manager), troubleshoot system-related problems, and be responsible for the overall availability of the SAS environment


Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in SAS BI

  • Minimum 5 years of SAS Admin experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with SAS Data Loader for Hadoop

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Enterprise Data Management

  • Experience going through at least one full implementation cycle and supporting SAS Grid post-install (for at least 6 months), flexible working in shifts

  • High School Diploma/GED

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with SAS Viya

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in SAS Data Management
