As a Database Administrator, you will:
Install, configure, and upgrade Teradata software and related products
Backup, restore, and migrate Teradata data and objects
Establish and maintain backup and recovery policies and procedures
Manage and monitor system performance.
Monitor the database systems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime
Implement and maintain database security
Set up and maintain documentation and standards.
Support multiple Teradata Systems including independent marts and enterprise warehouse
Work with the team to ensure that the associated hardware resources are allocated to the databases and to ensure high availability and optimum performance
Improve and maintain the databases to include rollout and upgrades
Implement and release database changes as submitted by the development team
Minimum 3 years of experience with Teradata Administration
Minimum 3 years of experience with SQL
Minimum 3 years of experience with Data Warehousing
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to work as a part of a team work independently with minimal guidance
US Healthcare domain knowledge
Good understanding of Teradata Architecture and Administration
Experience with Teradata Administration and Relevant utilities
Experience with Teradata utilities like Mutiload, BTEQ, and TPT
Proficient in writing SQL
Hands-on experience in performance tuning
Good understanding of Database and Data Warehousing concepts
Compensation for roles at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable hourly range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.
