HJF is seeking a Digital Specialist (Remote) (Part-Time) to support the Consortium for Health and Military Performance (CHAMP). HJF provides scientific, technical, and programmatic support services to CHAMP. This position is part-time at 21 hours per week during the standard business day.

Responsible for posting materials to multiple websites, troubleshoots basic website issues, ensures 508 compliance of materials posting onto the websites, and tests website updates. Works closely with digital manager, web developer, editors, graphic artists, and content writers.

NOTE: All HJF employees are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Proof of vaccination or an approved religious or medical accommodation will be required.

Responsibilities:

  1. Posts content, including: written, graphic, audio, and video, onto websites in a timely fashion and selects images to accompany content on website. (40%)
  2. Works with Digital Manager and Web Developer to troubleshoot issues and test updates to website. (25%)
  3. Troubleshoots and fixes basic issues with website content, including broken links and content that is not displaying properly. (15%)
  4. Reviews materials going onto the website for 508 compliance (Section 508). (10%)
  5. Works with Digital Manager and Project Manager to assist staff when there are issues with JIRA or Confluence. (5%)
  6. Act as liaison for web team in meetings with other staff or subcontractors. (5%)
  7. May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor. This may include attendance of and participation in required training for role.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must have experience in electronic resource management. Must have excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are needed. Knowledge of web management, military culture and the social sciences/behavioral health field a plus.

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in a computer or IT related field required.

Minimum Experience/ Training Requirements: Minimum 3-5 years of experience required.

Work Arrangement: 100% remote.

Background/Security: Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Tier I investigation/Public Trust and a Common Access Card (CAC).
