As a part of that mission, we are pioneering the future of social virtual reality applications, and we need wonderful 3D art. Come join us creating genuinely new experiences within virtual reality. As an Art Outsource Manager, you will help create vibrant creative pipelines that populate VR experiences with carefully crafted content. You will work cross-functionally with a team of passionate engineers, artists, designers and PMs to bring delight and self expression to the metaverse.

Required SkillsArt Manager Responsibilities:
  • Manage, mentor, and grow a team of artists chartered with building and executing efficient external content pipelines
  • Recruit and hire talented contributors
  • Establish review processes within the team and key stakeholders
  • Engage with PMs, Designers and Engineer & Art Leads to define scope and goals for key features within our various projects
  • Connect, build relationships, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and drive mutual vision and goals
  • Effectively influence leaders and key partners to gain alignment
  • Manage extensive vendor relationships spanning a large volume of rapid content creation at a high aesthetic bar
  • Manage financials (forecasting, tracking, and purchase requests) for a large scale vendor projects
  • Work with internal and external partners to establish schedules and ensure timely delivery of high quality content
Minumum QualificationMinimum Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of people management and leadership experience in art pipelines
  • 5+ years of experience in 3D immersive software development – games & VR experience
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting and growing teams
  • Demonstrated experience managing the development, maintenance and documentation of art pipelines
  • Communication, presentation and diplomatic skills
  • Interest for empowering teams to produce results
  • 3+ years experience of successful partnership with vendors on high content volume projects
Preferred QualificationPreferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with ShotGrid
  • Experience with character customization systems
