This is a highly cross-functional role, involving close partnership across a number of teams within Meta including PM, Engineering, Data Science, Product Strategy, Operations, and Partnerships teams. Responsibilities will include driving revenue forecasting and planning, developing operational insights for the business, and modeling business scenarios to guide product decisions. This team’s focus on analysis and data-driven decision-making allows us to work effectively with our colleagues in the rest of the business in order to optimize long-term financial growth. Successful candidates will have exceptional analytical skills, a bias toward action, exceptional partnering and communication skills, and strong interest in the internet/tech media ecosystem. Please note that this is an Individual Contributor (IC) role.

Required SkillsBusiness Operations Manager - Facebook App Responsibilities:
  • Drive elements of Facebook App revenue forecast cycles across product teams: long-range plan (LRP), annual budget, and half-yearly forecasts
  • Maintain/create core reporting and analytics infrastructure and models while proactively surfacing opportunities to improve efficiency
  • Develop a deep quantitative and qualitative understanding of the Facebook App ads business model
  • Create/socialize narratives that influence outcomes and decisions
  • Analyze large datasets and partner with Business and Product teams to interpret findings and identify actionable insights and opportunities
  • Create business partnerships with leaders at all levels and functions across product and data science teams
Minumum QualificationMinimum Qualifications:
  • BS, BA, or MS in Economics, Business, Math, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or other quantitative field
  • 6+ years of experience in finance, analytics, business strategy, or planning experience
  • Proficient with SQL and Microsoft Excel
  • Statistical/analytical experience
  • Experience shifting priorities quickly, while maintaining a high degree of organization and control
Preferred QualificationPreferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree such as an MBA or MS in quantitative field
  • Experience in sales & trading, investment management, investment banking or strategy consulting
  • Experience problem-solving individually and in a group setting
