The ideal candidate will share our passion for solving complicated business and security problems, while minimizing friction and maximizing productivity and impact. This is a technical role, requiring both deep and broad technical knowledge across a range of security disciplines. This is also a leadership role that will be making recommendations to leadership on resourcing, roadmaps and processes. The ideal candidate will need to be adept at communicating at the highest levels of the organization, presenting arguments based on data, and representing Meta FinTech's security team.The Meta Financial Technologies business reflects four key pillars: Payment Platform:The Payment Platform team builds the infrastructure to connect people and business with payments and financial services that we build at Meta. This is difficult technical work, will have massive global impact, and you will get to work closely with smart people on challenging initiatives. Financial Integrity:The Financial Integrity team helps achieve our mission by caring for and protecting our customers, managing risk effectively, and building the best tools and products needed to run our operations, risk and compliance efforts at Meta. Consumer: Our Consumer team builds safe and affordable financial services for people, enabling them to transact by sending money to friends and family or paying for goods and services using Meta's apps. Business: Our Business team creates financial services and payments tools for advertisers, merchants and creators, with a focus on enhancing experiences for businesses and the customers they serve across Meta’s platforms and technologies.

Required SkillsSecurity Partner, Meta FinTech Responsibilities:
  • Discover needs and drive security solutions across Meta FinTech’s business units
  • Represent Meta FinTech Security in product strategy and roadmap development with Program Managers, Technical Program Managers and Engineers
  • Build deep relationships with product and engineering leaders
  • Drive security risk decisions, initiatives, and influence technical architecture
  • Conduct threat modeling assessments and provide secure design consultation
  • Act as the primary liaison between the product and engineering teams, and the security team
  • Develop and maintain deep industry expertise in the assigned areas
Minumum QualificationMinimum Qualifications:
  • 8+ years experience in information security engineering/application security/security architecture or equivalent discipline
  • Technical experience across security disciplines
  • Experience communicating risks and roadmaps to senior leadership
  • Experience building relationships with stakeholders and business leaders
  • Experience with building relationship and driving technical security solutions with software engineers
  • Experience with Threat Modeling of application and end-to-end systems
  • Experience in designing and documenting security architectures
Preferred QualificationPreferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the financial industry, FinTech, and/or cryptocurrency space
  • Proven contributions to the security community (public research, blogging, presentations, bug bounty, etc.)
  • Strong domain experience in one or more of the following fields: web application security and OWASP, mobile application layer security, distributed infrastructure, consumer devices, or production hardware
