Overview

​Job Summary:

The Autosys Analyst Lead role has an overall responsibility for the Autosys and IDash Applications. This role will participate in writing document business requirements needed to support the evolving business processes of Allegis Groups businesses. Coordinate with other BA team members to ensure a consistent approach is used across the organization. Working closely with support teams to identify gaps, redundancies, ultimately optimizing and developing prescribed solutions for process improvement.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Identify and analyze business problems and define the scope of activities required to address the issues, including requirement definition, process review, impact assessment and operational streamlining where appropriate.
  • Diagram and evaluate existing processes.
  • Knowledge of the Autosys & IDash applications; this includes the JIL language, the web interface, job types, and attributes
  • Learn and understand the automated batch schedule. This will include for example, payroll, billing, accounts payable, data warehouse, Hyperion
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft as it relates to batch processing
  • Collect and analyze process data to initiate, develop and recommend business practices and procedures that focus on increased productivity, reduced costs and positive user experience.
  • Perform and implement process improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to and prepare documentation for recommendations and cost benefit analysis.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationship with business partners and internal/external team members.
  • Identify issues and escalate/manage resolution as required.
  • Work with Business partners to gather requirements necessary for automating new processes or updating existing ones
  • Work with Vendors to gather requirements for new connectivity setup
  • Use VersionOne to document new incoming work items
  • Assist Product Teams with crafting user stories and acceptance criteria based on process research and MVP validation
  • Drive team to consistently improve cycle time and speed to market. Ensure information flows in teams as appropriate to facilitate workflow, reduce cycle time and deliver high quality solutions.
  • Support 24/7 on call model for escalation situations
Qualifications

Minimum Education and/or Experience:

  • BS/BA degree in a related field and/or comparable industry related experience required
  • 3 – 5 years of related industry experience working as a Business Analyst /Tester with a development / IS team, preferably in an Agile environment
  • Solid understanding of Agile principles
  • Experience using Version One
