We're looking for an experienced consumer media and marketing leader to join our in-house Media Investment team, which is part of the Product Marketing, Growth & Channels team. The TV/Video Investment Manager will be part of the Video/Digital team, and report directly to the Video/Digital Lead. This role will be responsible for leading channel investment strategies across Meta, partnering with leaders across Strategic Planning & Operations, Insights & Analytics, Creative, Social, Finance, and manage the external agency relationship in bringing thought leadership and recommendations of how best leverage our dollars in the video landscape including Linear TV, Addressable, OTT, FEPs, Cinema, etc. The right person has extensive knowledge of video platforms, and a perspective on how to leverage them in ways that drive ROI for the company. They will make recommendations on how and when to leverage short-term vs. long-term investment tactics, set best and next practice, and lead development of Joint Business Plans with vendor partners.

Required SkillsTV/Video Investment Manager Responsibilities:
  • Identify next practice based on marketplace and business evolution (cord cutters, light TV viewers, ad avoidance, etc.)
  • Serve as a credible expert internally to represent the Investment Centers of Excellence in video channels
  • Conduct ongoing landscape assessments to identify technologies/partners to test
  • Partner with appropriate stakeholders (agencies, COEs, Decision Science, Insights, etc.) to influence testing of new capabilities
  • Find synergies between TV/Video and other touchpoints (Social, Search, Video Content) for greater impact
  • Represent Meta as part of appropriate Industry organizations to gain learning in this area
  • Partner with Media Agency to lead thinking and push recommendations to encompass advanced learnings while achieving business objectives
  • Attend periodic Vertical Business Unit meetings to answer questions and share learnings as needed
  • Review video plans to check for best practice application
  • Partner with executive leaders across Product Marketing, Growth & Channels, partnerships, and business development and lead team on strategic portfolio/team wide initiatives that will up-level and deliver best-in-class outputs across the Meta ecosystem
Minumum QualificationMinimum Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in a TV/Video buying/planning role
  • Knowledge of industry tools such as MRI, comScore, Nielsen
  • 8+ years of experience developing video investment strategy and execution including Upfront, Scatter and Joint Business Planning
  • Knowledge of current industry trends and innovation in media, tracking, analytics and research
  • Experience managing agencies
Preferred QualificationPreferred Qualifications:
  • Experience and comfort working in a fast-paced, and at times ambiguous environment
  • Knowledge of consumer and cultural media trends
