Hardhat in Hand Program (9795)
Position Description: Hardhat in Hand, a workforce development initiative, is an earn while you learn program designed to introduce and acclimate participants to a future career in the construction skilled trades. The program consist of an accelerated learning model that includes instruction and/or training for the following; blueprint reading, math, first aid, construction safety and career readiness.

Qualifications: High School Graduate or GED required. Previous work or volunteer experience required.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works on-site at the construction work site where the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. The noise in these work environments is usually moderate to very loud.
