BAE Systems is looking for a Software Development Engineer with at least 6 years of software design, code and test experience. The candidate must have an active Secret clearance. The qualified candidate will work on a multi-disciplinary team and provide hands-on technical support.

Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in a computer related field
• US Citizenship with an active Secret clearance is required
• Experience developing in Java and/or C#
• Motivated individual with strong problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Highly motivated and able to work well in both team and solo settings

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Experience in the Mission Planning Domain
• Experience with Agile software development
• Experience with cloud services such as AWS
• Experience in developing micro services
• Experience using tools such as GitLab, Ansible, Docker, Fortify, Terraform, Nexus, Rancher
