Network Engineer (CNNA, CCNP)
Job Description BAE Systems is searching for a network engineer to help manage and maintain our company’s network at the Radford Army Ammunition Plant, a major Department of Defense manufacturing facility. Some after hours On-Call support needed.
Responsibilities:
· Collaborating with existing network engineers to design and implement functional company networks.
· Installing and configuring networking hardware.
· Creating and implementing network security measures including cyber security.
· Conducting regular network performance tests.
· Cyber security related duties (patching/key NIST compliance related tasks).
· Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, switches, DNS and DHCP.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Fiber Optic cabling and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of networking hardware including CPUs, wiring, and routers.
- Familiarity with communication and routing protocols.
- Familiarity with network analysis tools.
- Experience using SCADA and / or industrial controls
- Experience creating a manufacturing network from scratch
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA)
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
- Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
- Cisco Networking
