Job Description The Supply Chain Planner (SCP) is the focal point for all supply chain activities. The planner in this role will support execution of programs and coordination of F35 Spares along with DTIP production returns and DTIP Sustainment returns at the Sustainment Center at the Merr24 campus. Also assists in reporting of key performance indicators, performance data and other metrics. The supply chain planner will identify and escalate issues. He/she will plan, prepare, issue and control material requirements in conjunction wit schedules and lay in requirements. The planner will support risk management activities that impact the value chain working with cross functional teams. The planner will ensure that shipments are accomplished to maintain contract / internal delivery commitments. SCP planner will utilize system and process tools to achieve program / functional goals. As a senior planner, this position requires that the individual possess a strong understanding of procurement and planning process steps. Also must be capable of troubleshooting process failures to ensure success for the program. Candidate will be expected to train and mentor junior level supply chain team members and take a leadership role at the sustainment center. This position relies on experience and judgement to organize and plan, and accomplish department objectives with a wide degree of creativity, continuous improvement approach and latitude expected to fulfill a variety of duties.Required Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelors Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent.
-Ability to verbally and accurately report production status to program team or factory
-Strong analytical and problem solving skills
-.Microsoft Office skills (word, Excel, Power point)
-ERP System Experience (Oracle, SAP, other)
-Ability to analyze and react to exceptions in MRP. Especially around Purchase Req's/PO's and ECO's
-Ability to work as part of a cross-functional, diverse team
-Strong ability to multi task and manage time. Planner supports multiple programs and projects across business areas and Orgs in Oracle.Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills -Good communication skills and drive to learn and teach supply chain initiatives, processes and procedures.
