Project Manager (IT/ERP) (80312BR)
Job Description Provides operational and maintenance program support for the Information Technology (IT) Business Applications organization, managing and providing operational support for several application portfolio teams managing technical and maintenance efforts. Involved in all aspects of planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and execution activities for successful deployments of changes, upgrades, implementations of applications across the application portfolios. Conducts planning meetings to capture work tasks, determine hour by hour scheduling of tasks and assigned resources. Runs associated cut-over and deployment meetings to ensure seamless execution of deployed application related efforts. Provides real time issue escalation, resolution, and resource support coordination. Conducts technical and business awareness meetings to track technical issues, architecture reviews, status of application in-flight efforts, and provide meeting minutes, actions, and follow-up discussions where needed. Keeps all IT and Business stakeholders aligned with project status, priorities, and target deployments. Assesses issues, creates action plans and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
Work on complex technical projects. Work under guidance provided direction toward predetermined long-range goals and objectives. Assignments are often self-initiated. Determine and pursue courses of action necessary to obtain desired results. Work checked through technical guidance and agreement with others rather than by formal review by direct manager. Serves as organization spokesperson on advanced projects being supported. Acts as advisor to management and customers on assigned projects, tasks, and objectives. Work involves interfacing and communicating with multiple business disciplines that include finance, accounting, project accounting, procurement, contracts, and manufacturing teams on IT related work in support of these functional business areas.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, including the ability to lead across functional teams.
- Self-directed proactive and able to work independently.
- Detail oriented, organized and disciplined.
- Scheduling and project management experience.
- Expertise in standard office software including: Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage in a matrix environment as well as ability to manage virtual teams.
- Strong stakeholder management skills. Self-motivated with passion to learn and expand IT Operations skills.
- Experience with SW Development, configuration management and IT Change Control processes.
- Experience executing small, medium, and large projects through the entire project management lifecycle.
- Experience in an IT Service Delivery organization
- PMP Certification.
- ITIL Certification
