Job Description BAE Systems is looking for a seasoned Sr. Contract Administrator with cradle-to-grave contracts administration experience who can successfully manage the administration of multiple complex contracts within the Federal Government Contracting arena as well as international commercial contracts.
This individual will apply extensive technical expertise regarding contract administration and must possess the ability to manage multiple priorities. The selected candidate will represent the organization as a Contracts representative and as required, interact with senior internal and external personnel on matters often requiring coordination between organizations. This is a Senior Contract Administrator position requiring a strong background in all contract types, including International Commercial Contracts, Other Transaction Agreements, Teaming and Strategic Agreements, terms and conditions and various other contractual skills. Good verbal and written communication skills are essential for this position as well has having the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing value-added analysis of solicitation terms and conditions, identifying risks as well as mitigation alternatives, independently leading the cost volume, acting as a pivotal contributor for the proposal development effort;
- Working collaboratively across all areas of the business to meet contractual requirements, at all times presenting a knowledgeable and unified company to our customers;
- Examining performance and contractual deliverables/requirements to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to bid specifications and contract terms;
- Advising management of contractual rights and obligations in accordance with contract terms, FAR/DFAR and other government regulations;
- Compiling and maintaining all required contractual records and documents in accordance with contract requirements and Company policies and procedures;
- Negotiating and administering Non-Disclosure, complex Teaming, and other Agreements in accordance with corporate policies and procedures, coordinating legal reviews as appropriate;
- Supporting Program managers, and Business area leads, providing sound business advice and counsel to Line of Business at all levels as required;
- Serving as primary point of contact between Company and the Customer for all contractual matters on assigned contracts and projects including business agreements;
- Performing research on moderately complex contracting matters and providing sound business advice and counsel to Operations management and functional departments in accordance to bid specifications, FAR/DFAR, other government regulations and internal policies;
- -Coordinating cross functionally to meet internal and external requirements and deadlines;
- Actively contributing to the development and implementation of new business methods, processes and contracting concepts in order to achieve business unit and contracts' goals and objectives;
- Works under only general direction. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives. --Demonstrating ability to manage heavy workload and meet deadlines independently.
At least 6+ years of cradle-to-grave contracts experience in the area of Federal Government contracting
- Expert Working knowledge of FAR/DFAR, Export and other government regulations and the ability to execute and interpret these regulations within complex contracts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of all contract types
- International Contracting experience

- NCMA certifications
- Supply chain experience
- Exp. with Salesforce and/or Deltek Costpoint
- Expert Working knowledge of FAR/DFAR, Export and other government regulations and the ability to execute and interpret these regulations within complex contracts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of all contract types
- International Contracting experience
