Job Description Because this role involves a combination of independent and collaborative work, this position can be conducted 100% remotely.

BAE’s Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) business area has an exciting opportunity for a Program Director II to lead competitive capture campaigns for 6th Generation full spectrum electronic warfare providing passive kill integrated with advanced aircraft protection. Reporting to the head of our Advanced Electronic Warfare Solutions (AEWS) product line, this role will be remotely executed in Dayton, Ohio next to our customers working with our technical and manufacturing teams based in Nashua, NH. AEWS is charting the course for BAE System’s 6th Generation Storm EWTM electronic warfare systems, and this is an opportunity to get in on the ground floor. In this role, you will spearhead campaigns that will make the next leap forward in aircraft lethality and survivability.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide proactive leadership of the capture campaign portfolio to win positions across multiple technologies in a highly competitive landscape.
  • Cultivate strong external and internal relationships at various levels with the US government, prime contractors, and BAE Systems executive ranks to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate visible leadership across a multi-team campaign leading by example driving business winning discipline.
  • Develop and execute capture strategies consistent with the customer’s, BAE Systems technology roadmaps and leveraged execution strategy.
  • Take an active role in development and execution of the business winning strategy to maximize workshare in a competitive acquisition landscape.
  • Foster a culture of innovative problem solving, performance excellence, and continuous improvement to deliver affordable, effective, and dependable solutions.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Typically a Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business-related discipline and a minimum of 12 years of experience leading technical and program teams through all phases of the lifecycle along with proven performance delivering on customer commitments in complex environments. PMP certification desired.
  • Knowledge of the customer community and experience establishing and building customer relationships along with the ability to collaborate within and across organizational boundaries.
  • Demonstrated success identifying growth areas and developing and executing new business strategic plans aligned with the company’s growth objectives and technology.
  • Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills with the ability to achieve results through others in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with experience providing executive level briefings on project status and recommendations.
  • Experience operating, allocating resources, and prioritizing effectively in limited timeframes.
  • Knowledge of Government contracting, current acquisition trends and customer / competitor behaviors is a positive.

  • Experience with electronic warfare and it's role in mission effectiveness
  • Appreciation for aircraft survivability and the pacing threats that challenge it
  • Broad customer relationships across government and aircraft manufactures
