Job Description The selected candidate for this position will work at our Rockville, MD site to support the Strategic Weapon System Programs (SSP). The candidate will perform a variety of tasks related to developing, writing, and editing material for reports, user guides, presentations, proposals, white papers, Ordnance Documents, Strategic Systems Program Instructions (SSPINSTs), and Engineering documents from our Coordination, Test, and Safety Program Areas.Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Typically a 4-year college degree and 2 years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Expert-level skills with Microsoft Word; strong proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Demonstrated skills in technical writing, grammar and usage, form, organization of ideas, and technical communications
  • Demonstrated ability to pay attention to details
  • Ability to plan and prioritize tasks to successfully meet/exceed customer expectations
  • Possess or be able to obtain Secret clearance
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline
  • Familiarity with Controlled Unclassified Information (e.g., requirements, portion markings, and creation)
  • Familiar with the Strategic Systems Program mission
  • Secret Clearance
