The Leidos DES (Defense Enclave Services) team is supporting an extensive digital modernization program critical to DISA and Fourth Estate Agencies.
Leidos currently has an opening for a Knowledge Management Specialist, located at Ft. Meade, MD.
We are looking for a talented individual to transform Knowledge Management materials from its current state to a structure that facilitates scaling in a user-friendly, organized, and professional environment. The candidate will be responsible to perform ongoing governance and continual process improvement to optimize performance and efficiency of the Knowledge Management environment. There will be excellent exposure to the customer, engineering, and operational processes as you communicate across interfacing organizations. Your ideas, suggestions and concerns will be welcomed, especially to streamline processes and strengthen performance and practices
•Must hold an active Secret clearance.(US Citizenship required)
•Responsible for knowledge management materials for the DoDNet IT infrastructure.
•Create MS collaboration spaces and files to facilitate performance and collaboration with the Government.
•Document knowledge materials and properly storing via identified systems (MS Teams and SharePoint Online) utilizing best practices, this includes presenting the required data in the Government requested format (DoD Enterprise Service Management Framework).
•Lead development and maintenance of the Knowledge management plan and associated processes.
•Records Management - to ensure the creation and preservation of adequate and proper documentation of the DES program, functions, policies, decisions, procedures, and essential decision points.
•Responsible for the process of creating, revising, and retiring knowledge materials
•Support the implementation and maintenance of the knowledge management plan and processes including identifying opportunities for improvement.
•Understanding of key ITSM processes and how they intersect with Knowledge Management.
•Multitask and manage competing priorities.
•Work independently, engaging SMEs, to drive work to closure on-time, and achieve day-to-day objectives.
•Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of relevant experience; additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
•Experience in applying standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques of knowledge management.
•Experience with MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Teams, and MS SharePoint Online.
•ITIL v3 certification(s) or ITIL 4 Foundation certification(s).
•Knowledgeable on the DESMF.
