Job Description In your role as our BTO/IT Application Program Manager you will have the opportunity to engage our business and help define the technology strategy, vision and roadmap in alignment with the organization’s application portfolio objectives. Primary responsibilities include working across the business’s application portfolio to understand application requirements and guide solutions and architecture designs to meet these needs. You will help shape and manage a portfolio of application initiatives focused on leveraging and building integration between the business functional requirements and our core enterprise systems. This role will include involvement in both sector and Inc application alignment and strategy shaping. This role is part of our Business Technology Office (BTO) so there is also core IT business relationship responsibilities as you represent the business within our IT service model. These BTO responsibilities will include elevating the quality and value of IT services and support provided to our business.

This is a stakeholder facing role with a high level of business interaction and having a strong customer service mindset is imperative.

Responsibilities include

  • Define the technology strategy, vision and roadmap in alignment with the organization’s operational objectives
  • Facilitate and increase awareness of various application integration initiatives and dependencies across multiple domains.
  • Collaborate with functions/programs to understand business system requirements, user experience, business information management and communication strategy, process integration of application, and support needs.
  • Partner and manage the strategy for the integration of application systems across functional domains.
  • Support business case creation and provide portfolio management of specific projects
  • Assess the potential risk of bringing new and emerging technologies into the organization and determine how to mitigate it.
  • Facilitate change management governance of integrated systems to minimize risk to upstream or downstream functional interfaces to minimize disruptions to the business.
  • Coordinate support of business application integration initiatives across domains.
  • Drive adoption of business strategy and organizational change management
  • Provide consultative support and advice on technology projects led by business partners
  • Proactively monitor industry, functional, and technology trends to guide business partners on emerging opportunities
  • Identify new opportunities to leverage data and to integrate data or applications to enhance business value
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree with 10 years’ work experience or equivalent experience
  • Experience in functions such as supply chain, operations, quality assurance/testing, development, or project management
  • Ability to quantify resource requirements and measure and communicate proposed project benefits
  • Familiarity with company structure and operations outside of IT
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Experience working on a project using Agile or iterative methods
  • Ability to quantify resource requirements and measure and communicate proposed project benefits
  • Familiarity with company structure and operations outside of IT
  • Experience defining an IT strategy and project plans driving business outcomes that positively affect the bottom line
  • Experience identifying new opportunities to leverage data and to integrate data or applications to enhance business value
  • Experience driving digital business innovation, optimization, and integration
  • Experience in business relationship building between business and technology providers.
