BAE Systems is looking for an experienced Cyber Security Architect to join our innovative team to help modernize, design, optimize, implement, and maintain the security infrastructure of our customer.

In this role, you will:

  • Serve as the Senior technical advisor and SME for the Cyber Security Architecture of our US Government customer
  • Be Creative! Dream up innovative solutions to complex challenges you want see in nearly any other Cyber environment
  • Lead the planning, design, testing, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise network cyber defense capabilities
  • Lead and consult the customer on desired Secure Architecture end states (Zero Trust)
  • Ensure solutions meet customer's Cyber Security needs and are compliant with applicable regulatory standards
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical discipline
  • CISSP-ISSAP or CISSP-ISSEP
  • 10+ years of experience within Cyber security
  • Prior experience as a Lead Cyber Architect for Government in the DoD/IC or Law Enforcement
  • Very strong technical consultative skills, including the ability to translate highly technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
  • Very strong Client Relationship Management skills
  • Experience briefing Senior Executive and GO/FO stakeholders
  • Emergent Technology Awareness and Assessments
  • Risk Management
  • Systems Integration
  • Technical Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning
  • Knowledge of Industry and Government Standards (NIST, ISO, DoD 8500 series, ICDs etc)
  • Expert Knowledge of Enterprise Security Architectural concepts and patterns (baseline, validated design, target architectures etc)
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Experience in Computer Network Operations
  • SOC Experience is highly preferred
