Summary of Job Duties:The Gifts and Grants Fiscal Manager reports to the Director of Gifts and Grants and will manage various areas of fiscal management within Fulbright College. Areas that will be supported include, but are not limited to, gifts and Endowed Chairs within Fulbright College; internally funded grants and awards- both those awarded by Fulbright and awarded to Fulbright faculty from other campus sources; startup funding; and F&A management.

This position will also act as coordinator for outward communication for the Gifts and Grants team, including managing the gifts and grants website, email, and other communication channels. Management of gifts, grants, and awards includes, but is not limited to, preparation and dissemination of regular reports for gifts and Chair funds, assisting departments with transfer of expenses to and from gift accounts, processing forms for direct payment from Foundation-held gift accounts, coordinating salary payments from gift accounts, and assisting departments and Chairs with expense planning during the year.

Management of internally funded grants and awards includes, but is not limited to, setting up worktags for internally funded awards, transfer of funding to award worktags, closeout of completed awards, and assisting faculty in the correct allocation of expenses to worktags. Coordination of the website and team communications includes, but is not limited to, updating information on the unit website, managing communication to and from the team email address, and updating training materials provided by the team. This position will perform other duties as assigned.

Regular, reliable and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • The formal education equivalent of a bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, general business or a related field;

  • Four years of experience in fiscal operations, including two years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.

Applicable equivalencies may be considered on the qualifications listed above.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience with the Workday accounting system

  • Demonstrated experience working with gift accounts at the University of Arkansas

  • Demonstrated experience with website management software.

  • Demonstrated customer service skills
