Job Summary

This position is responsible for data loss protection build out, configuration, monitoring, investigation, and response. Data loss prevention tools include Data Leak Prevention (DLP), Forcepoint Behavior Analytics (FBA), and may be expanded in the future. This position is responsible for crafting, implementing, and continued support of data loss protection review strategies, rules and testing procedures. The position also conducts or supports computer and information-related business compliance (BC) investigations. The position is also responsible for monitoring social media and internet to identify cyber threats, including threat actors, tools, and TTPs, and providing analysis of trends and patterns.

Please note this position is hybrid, comprised of remote and in office work. PSEG reserves the right to amend the hybrid model at any time.

Job Responsibilities
  • Administer the Data Leak Prevention system to include: Implementing and customizing DLP rules, reviewing DLP hits and initiating investigations on positive hits, and troubleshooting the DLP. Craft, implement, and support data loss protection review strategies, rules and testing procedures
  • Monitor Forcepoint Behavior Analytics (FBA) tool for indiciators of insider threats/workplace violence
  • Develop and monitor information security practices and instructions so to assure the company has best available (benchmarked) security practices. Assure compliance with cyber security legal and regulatory mandates. Forge key alliances with Information Technology and other internal departments
  • Support/investigate computer and information-related business compliance (BC) investigations and works with involved internal constituents to resolve controls deficiencies. Provides concise, factual, and non-subjective investigation reporting to management
  • Monitors social media and internet to identify cyber threats, including threat actors, tools, and TTPs, through the identification of trends, patterns, and emerging threats and risks, in order to inform decision and policy makers or to provide timely warnings
  • Maintain and update, as needed, DLP documentation (program guides, policies, desktop procedures, training materials, client presentations, etc.)
Job Specific Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Security, or related area.
  • 5 years experience in Data Leak Protection (DLP), User/Entity Based Analytics (UEBA, UBA), Insider Threat, security, investigations, computer forensics, technical computer support, litigation support, and/or auditing.
  • Experience with Working with data protection and data loss prevention tools. Strong working knowledge of regulatory, information security, and privacy requirements; ability to respect and protect both customer and employee data. Strong communication and writing skills, with a focus on attention to detail. Ability to leverage multiple data sets and tools to support complex analysis. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact at all levels of the organization. Critical thinking skills and creativity; ability to solve difficult and complex problems and deliver practical, effective results. Ability to provide detailed briefings of incidents to senior management when necessary.
