Reporting to the Manager of Network Services, the Network Services Team Lead will be responsible for leading the Network Services teams. This involves assisting in both operational and tactical aspects of the Network, Firewall, and Telecom areas. This is a hybrid role, with a requirement to work at our Cranberry Township, PA Headquarters location 2 days a week, with the remaining days at home.

Your Day to Day

  • Assist in the lead of a global team covering the implementation, support and development of the network, firewall and telecom area teams.
  • Managing small to medium sized projects
  • Assist in the management of the multiple Network Services operational queues
  • Assisting in the response to priority incidents
  • Diagnosing and resolving complex issues, providing the engineers second level support
  • Operational maintenance and support of the network and telephony circuits. Performing disconnects or ordering circuits.
  • Operate in an on-call rotation specifically in the network area
  • Support network monitoring capabilities
  • Assist in implementing network automation where possible
  • Ensure network service teams documentation are up to date and assist the teams in coaching or documenting where needed
  • Ensuring redundancy and disaster recovery configurations are in place, coaching the team where needed
  • Performing any other related duties prioritized by the Network Services Manager.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Network Engineering or related field
  • Experience in a complex, global engineering, and manufacturing organization
  • Demonstrated success in leading large, global network communications teams
  • High level of understanding in the network, telecom, and firewall fields
  • Experience in project managing small to mid-sized projects
  • Experience delivering highly complex, global programs and projects
  • 7+ years’ experience hands on support and troubleshooting of networks
  • 5+ years’ experience successfully leading geographically diverse technical teams
  • Proficient in Cisco routers and switches, Arista switches and Cloud Vision Portal, Nexus switches, Python, SolarWinds network configuration manager (NCM), Aruba Clear Pass Policy Manager, Cisco Prime/DNA, Cisco/Arista Wireless, Cisco SDWAN
