PSEG is seeking a summer intern to work with the Technical Training Support team within the Transformation & Centralized Services organization at our Edison NJ location. The team designs and conducts technical training for PSE&G’s trade apprentices.
This position will be hybrid, a combination of in-person and remote reporting.

The successful intern will assist with: 1) Researching and proposing a Training Needs Assessment process to govern and categorize training requests, 2) Creating a training content matrix / curriculum for Technical Training Support staff roles. In addition to health & safety content, researching the LinkedIn Library for training offerings that would be applicable to new instructors and instructional designers, and 3) Developing a structured Train-the-Trainer program for new instructors. The program will have the necessary learnings, experiences and timeline to prepare the individual for solo instruction.
Job Specific Qualifications
Required Education/Skills: The successful candidate (s) must be actively pursuing a Bachelor's, or Master’s degree from an accredited institution in Business, Technology, Engineering, or Operations. To be considered, candidate must have completed sophomore level coursework by the start of the internship program. PSEG recognizes institutions of higher education, which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent. Because this position requires driving to various PSEG Locations, a valid driver’s license and clean driving history is required.
Preferred Skills: 3.0 GPA or above, technical analysis, organization and time management skills.
All PSEG internship roles are paid at an hourly rate, however there are no benefits associated with these positions. Candidates are expected to work 40-hours per week over the summer period and as business needs warrant. We are targeting currently enrolled, matriculating students (must be enrolled at the commencement of the internship program). Housing, transportation, immigration support will not be provided in association with these positions.
Certain positions at the Company may require you to have access to Part 810-Controlled Information. Under the law, the Company is limited in who it can share this information with and in certain circumstances it is necessary to obtain specific authorization before the Company can share this information. Accordingly, if the position does require access to this information, you must complete a 10 CFR Part 810 Export Control Compliance Nationality Request Form, a copy of which will be provided to you by Talent Acquisition if an offer is made. If there is a need for specific authorization, due to the time it takes to obtain authorization from the government, we will likely not be able to further proceed with an offer.
