Performs work at the journeymen level in the plant`s facilities including fabrication, maintenance, repair and alteration of buildings and structures, using various carpenter hand tools, portable power tools, carpenter shop woodworking equipment, and standard measuring instruments.

Position Requirements

  • Associate's Degree and 5+ years of related experience or equivalent.
  • Considerable knowledge of and skill in use of hand and power woodworking equipment and machinery, including but not limited to saws, planers, routers, radial arm saws, hand and portable power tools, and measuring devices.
  • Good ability in reading and following blueprints drawings and specifications.
  • A working knowledge and skill is attained through the equivalency of a high school diploma, four years as an apprentice and four years experience at the journeyman level.
