CADD Specialist (149942)
Leads and coordinates division objectives for life safety documentation and facilitates the implementation of components and requirements of the Facilities Information Management (FIM) strategic plan.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Lead the development and maintenance activities associated with life safety drawings for all FM facilities. Facilitates the implementation of the divisions Building Information Modeling (BIM) practices for the division. Provides quality control of project information as required from the Facilities Information Management program. Applies advanced and diversified knowledge of architecture and construction to establish master existing condition records.
JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES
Develops master existing condition drawings Primary contact for the development and maintenance of Life Safety Documents in support of the operation teams strategic plans, inspections, and regulatory compliance reporting. Tracks life safety updates from project records and field updates. Guides library team members to meet life safety documentation standards. Works with key facilities business units to define information requirements for the life safety documents and reports.
Coordinates project records to define master documentation Facilitate in the implementation of the divisions BIM practices for project delivery. Participates on project teams to administer the BIM expectations throughout the execution of projects.
Assists with process improvement Supports the development and refinement of division plans, policies, and procedures that define the BIM practices for project delivery. Including the development of BIM execution and quality control measures that ensure project information is efficiently captured, validated, and delivered to the management locations within the institution.
Provides quality control of BIM information Provides quality control of project records by interrogating data delivery based on information requirements defined through the FIM program for compliance by the divisions BIM practices and project close-out process
Other duties as assigned
High school diploma or equivalent. One year experience. Specialized CADD training can be substituted for experience.
Preferred: Associate's Level Degree. Auto Desk Associate Certificate. Five years' experience in building or utilities drafting in Healthcare. Experience using the following programs AutoCAD 2020 or newer, BIM, and/or Revit 2020 or newer.
