This role is to perform complex data analysis and reporting that improves our industry leading analytics for ERA – Enterprise Reporting & Analysis and specifically within our pharmacy supporting group.

Please note: This is a Hybrid role with 2-3 days in our 6860 W 115th St, Overland Park KS 66211, office and/or 2-3 days working from home as a telecommuter.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative analytic solutions, create actionable insights and drive better decisions and performance to help the business achieve its business objectives
  • Establish a deep understanding of the business and collaborate with Business SMEs to shape the reporting solutions provided
  • Develop ETL, workflows and automated reporting solutions as needed by the business
  • Support operational analytics, machine learning and process improvement data deep dive, identify and execute on new opportunities for increases in efficiencies and performance
  • Develop visionary and creative analytic solutions to measure business performance; identifies / quantifies drivers, risks and opportunities and defines solutions to mitigate risks and leverage opportunities
  • Influences senior leadership to adopt new ideas, projects and / or approaches
  • Update job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment
  • Participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks
  • Identify and help mitigate risks to the data and organizational health
  • Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas
  • Collaborating on solutions to those identified problem areas and following the software development lifecycle

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience working with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, Domo or similar reporting software)
  • 2+ years of experience utilizing SQL and / or relational database tools (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL or similar databases)
  • 1+ years of experience working on ETL tools (Alteryx, SSIS, SAS, Excel VBA)
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience working with Tableau
  • 1+ years of experience working with Alteryx
  • Healthcare domain knowledge - understanding claims, member & provider data
  • Experience with automating/scheduling processes in the big data platform
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem problem-solving skills
