This role is an amazing opportunity for someone with a strong technical background and a passion for business and data analysis. You will be able to drive custom technology solution and business process improvements throughout the organization to increase regulatory adherence via automation. You will be working with a team to create the best end to end member, provider and internal user experience possible by improving foundational processes and creating an integrated model to serve stakeholder needs efficiently. This team is responsible for identifying process and quality gaps, presenting innovative solution options to address these gaps, and implementing the selected business architecture and process enhancements.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Review requirements and translate/document them into technical specifications to increase regulatory adherence via automation
  • Working collaboratively with business and subject matter experts to map and document current and future processes from end to end
  • Assessing complaints and/or requests to troubleshoot and correct problems
  • Analyzing business metrics to identify key issues, trends, and potential root causes
  • Working with relevant stakeholders to establish appropriate criteria and goals
  • Documenting detailed business requirements for process improvements, product changes, and system enhancements
  • Estimating quantify potential benefits, costs, and resource requirements associated with recommended business process solutions
  • Documenting detailed standard operating procedures, policies, and workflows for operations team
  • Communicating and training of changes to operations teams
  • Creating process diagrams and work flows
  • Writing user stories and detailed acceptance criteria
  • Perform Quality Testing, Regression Testing, and coordinate performance/load testing
  • Coordinating user acceptance testing
  • Coordinating test activities for the sprint across all QA resources

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of total work experience
  • 3+ years of business analysis experience
  • 1+ years of solution implementation experience including:
    • Knowledgeable in quality assurance / control procedures
    • Solid documentation and reporting
  • Experience in Agile software development life cycles methodologies
  • Experience in working with agile tools
  • Experience in data/file mapping and ETL technology background
  • Experience working in Salesforce CRM
  • MS Office - Intermediate or greater level of knowledge
  • Solid analytical capabilities - ability to quickly assess, diagnose, and recommend
  • Solid process orientation - ability to breakdown complex processes into component parts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce admin certifications
  • Experience in the Healthcare Industry
  • Experience in working on Salesforce platform
  • Experience with user experience and user interface (UX/UI) design tools
  • Experience in working with Snowflake, MuleSoft
  • Solid written and verbal communications

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $82,100 to $146,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
